Our evaluation trip with Mother Earth Tours 2011:
Our trip with Mother Earth Tours was well organized wich allowed for good communication with participants.
Our Tour Leader had a friendly manner and showed interest in the well being of each participant he had good leadership skills, was alert, reacted quickly and appropriately. He was informative re: itinerary plans, history, flora, points of interest etc. and put a lot of energy into making the tour a safe memorable one.
The itinerary was well planned for adjustment to altitude by the participants in that before commencing the Inca Trail we spent time on leisurely hikes to interesting areas such as the Colca Canyon.
The residents on the Amantani Island were very enthusiastic hosts. The community dance, the hike in the evening, the meals was all positive. The Ollantaytambo ruins were also the highlight was a great place to visit!
Indeed the trip was excellent, largely because of the sincere effort that everyone at Mother Earth Tours put into it. We recommend it to appropriate friends and acquaintances.
Thanks Aly and thanks Effie for your work in getting us orientated and organized pre trip.

Hi Mother Earth Tours,
Just want to let you know we can’t stop talking about our trip to Peru. Effie talked me into joining, and I’m so glad. You and Aly are great planners, and we look forward to meeting you here in Canada. The tour was a great combination of hiking, touring and learning about Peru, and a little shopping!!! And the best food too. Your Company is very Successful, thanks a lot for this beautiful experience.

Mother Earth Tours- Inca Trail June, Kelly Breen.
It’s often after a trip that you think back or look at pictures and realize, “Wow, “this was amazing”. This was not the case on my 5 days spent exploring the Sacred Valley and the Inca Trail with Aly and his team. It was from the moment we drove off in the van (Mercedes, air conditioned, comfortable, great music) and Aly began describing the surrounding scenery that I knew I was in for a treat. Signing up for a Mother Earth Tours is by far the best recommendation I can give you for a visit to Peru. The entire experience from planning the trip to saying goodbye at the exceeded my expectations.
Aly himself as a tour guide and fearless leader is a wealth of knowledge, experience, and energy. He is engaging as he speaks (in fantastic whimsical English) and full of positive energy as you follow him through rugged terrain, often pushing yourself to limits you could never imagine. The food alone blew my mind-great restaurants while in each city and even better food from a fabulous chef on the trail (three well balanced courses for each meal while you hike). The hike on the Inca Trail took a less beaten path, including a private campsite, for two nights (we called 5 star camping), a wealth of knowledge about the ruins, the trail, the animals, and plants, as well as the history of the Incan’s in Peru a whole.
Going to a foreign country can be slightly disconcerting, but Aly and his team really made the process quiet easy, and it was truly a relief to let them take control, without having to worry. This goes for transportation and accommodations to the safety of my personal belonging while we hiked.
I hope to take other adventures with Aly and the Mother Earth Team in the future. Thank you for the experience of a lifetime!!

Aly – we all the Calgary Hikers want to thank you mucho Grande, for giving us the most wonderful adventure of our lives. Thank you for sharing your country, your knowledge, your fellow guides and your expertise. I truly enjoyed challenging my butt & other body parts still hurting- to complete our 45km. trek. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to grow such wonderful friendships with our unique Peru / Calgary family. You forever came to our rescue whether interpreting bills, finding souvenirs, following our “health issues”, asking for feedback on the hotels, restaurants, guides, etc, etc,. We loved the food & drink (had you noticed), hotels, home stay, diversity of sites. You were very flexible, supportive, fun, and professional- we enjoyed “Mother Earth Tours”. I will definitely pass on your name to others considering such a tour.
